Split last week , losing with Winnipeg and hitting with Saskatchewan leaving me at 3-1 on posted plays here.
This week:
Montreal @ BC: Montreal is away for the third consecutive week and BC is home for their second providing a fatique edge for the Lions. The Als generally suffer on these west swings when they play a very late body clock game. The opening stadium jitters should be alleviated for BC now and I expect a solid outing for them. Printers looks like he is starting but I wouldn't be too concerned if Lulay gets time here as he looks capable. Certainly the Lions O-line is a concern but I suspect BC's scheme will attempt to address this. I see Lions pounding the ball 20-25 times, quick hitters and judicious use of the deep ball against a struggling, fatiguing defense. I'm betting this now at +5 because I'm not sure of line moves. If it moves my way then I will add a unit. If not then I'm satisfied with the 5.
Good luck.
I'm away for a bit and hope to post a few weeks down the road depending on other handicapping responsibilities.
